About an hour away from Prague, this ancient silver mining city attracts its admirers mainly with its architectonically beautiful St. Barbara cathedral and the fascinating Sedlec Ossuary (a chapel decorated solely with human bones). Kutná Hora belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage List and is therefore well preserved and protected. Apart from the Ossuary and the St. Barbara cathedral you can also visit the Cathedral of Assumption of Our Lady and Saint John the Baptist at Sedlec.
